Moonsong

About the Artist…

Moonsong is a project spearheaded by multi-instrumentalist Cody Nielsen. With some exception, Nielsen writes, performs, and produces all of Moonsong’s recorded output, which spans a multitude of genres including neo-psych, math rock, shoegaze, doom metal, and indie pop, sometimes over the course of a single track.

Moonsong has released one EP, one mini album, and two full length albums, with the most recent being the one track LP Æternum, released April 30, 2022. Æternum acts as a complete 180 on Nielsen’s approach and output thus far, featuring a minimalist drone metal sound, and for the very first time, a full band recorded alongside him.
